Eco-design

Our desire to provide the best quality light and sustainable illumination, begins at our manufacturing facility in Wiltshire, where we use 100% green energy, and employ optimized manufacturing processes including, additive manufacturing techniques to reduce carbon miles and provide high service levels.

Working closely with local suppliers also minimizes our transport-related carbon emissions while supporting our local community.

Pure materials

We use pure, easily separable and recyclable materials in our products that include, eco-friendly aluminium and recyclable plastics that can be further used in industry after efficient end of life processing. Our modular and minimalist approach to product development ensures designs are lightweight, have fewer and simpler components that reduce carbon emissions from the materials used and production processes.  These innovations provide maintenance benefits with fewer parts to maintain or replace should the need arise.

We constantly research new sustainable materials, technology and processes to further reduce carbon emissions and avoid material loss to landfill.

Transportation

The Carbon Commission reports that 24% of the world’s carbon dioxide emissions directly stem from industrial logistics, a figure projected to rise to 40% by 2050 if no effective reduction measures are taken.

We seize every opportunity to optimize our transport logistics. Our products are designed to be compact and lightweight, minimizing transportation weight and volume, leading to reduced transport-related emissions and facilitates easy on-site handling.

Our production operations are strategically located to minimize transportation distances and times for procurement and supply, ensuring efficient and flexible service levels with direct-to-site or warehouse deliveries.
