At Colourbox we understand the power of light.
Using only the latest technology, we manufacture beautiful luminaires to fit seamlessly into the finest interiors. Colourbox products are designed, built and tested in our studio workshop in the UK market town of Faversham in Kent. We are proud to partner not only with local precision engineers and finishers who provide our components but also with world-leading technology innovators including Bridgelux, Osram and Tridonic.

About us
Tim Donkin, Colourbox Founder and Owner, fell in love with lighting and design 30 years ago. After enjoying senior management positions at Candela, Reggiani and Orluna, Tim founded Colourbox in 2018.
“My aim was to use my experience to work more closely with partners, to provide UK-made, higher-quality products which always enhance brilliant designs. I also wanted to deliver a service which helps partners complete their projects on time. Every Colourbox order we build is a privilege.”
Mark Newman, Head of Operations, has, to date, built and tested over 20,000 Colourbox luminaires. His attention to detail ensures our partners can trust every product we build and deliver. Mark even studied Lighting Design at the Chelsea School of Art so he could fully understand our clients and their projects.
Anika Valentine, our Office Manager, has worked with major lighting brands for over 20 years. A trained accountant, Anika recently achieved an MBA and works on all aspects of the Colourbox business to ensure our partners and their clients always have the best customer experience.
